Fryetts Fabrics

We are now stocking a gorgeous little capsule collection from Fryetts Fabrics comprising two oilcloths and six printed canvases.

Based in Manchester, Fryetts is a long established supplier of decorative curtain, blind and upholstery fabrics with it’s own in-house design studio, so these gorgeous cotton canvas fabrics are UK designed and printed.

printed canvasThey are top quality prints onto fabric that handles as medium to heavy weight, so this cotton canvas is both durable and decorative.

Four of these designs are from Fryetts best selling Scandi Collection and are printed onto 140cms wide canvas.

Scandi is a bright, contemporary, scandi-look collection in popular bright shades which together create a fresh, vibrant scheme.

printed canvas‘Bergen’ is funky, linear seedhead design with a 32cms repeat on an ochre -coloured ground.

The ‘Narvick’ print features folksy, wood-cut style birdies on a grey sprigged floral background.

‘Odense’ is a simple abstract ochre and grey design on a a white ground.

printed canvasprinted canvas‘Spotty’ is a versatile, non directional design.

Ochre, seafoam and grey ‘Birds’ on a beige ground are light hearted and fun -this is surely perfect for a gender-neutral nursery theme?

printed canvasMulti-coloured, sprigged ‘Malmo’ is from the Happy Days collection and Feryetts Fabrics suggest all these printed cotton canvas’ are used for “curtains and occasional upholstery”. We see these designs all round the home as cushions and footstools (as well as for gorgeous bags and maybe a cute jacket?)

This 100% Cotton fabric should launder well, be easy to press using steam and not really fade or shrink.

oil clothThe oilcloth designs are two of Feryetts Fabrics best sellers and are printed onto 140cms wide, 100% cotton canvas laminated with a clear coating.

Oil cloth is a notch up from our spot PVC fabric which is a lower cost alternative but a different quality type.

The Bee print is already selling fast, you could say it’s flying out the door… so don’t leave it too late.

oil clothWe know most of our oil cloth and PVC sales are used for table-coverings in all areas of the home; for kitchens, playrooms and parties and for also everyday dining use, so why not team it with our table protector?

The oil cloth should NOT be washed, ironed or tumble dried; all that’s really necessary is to wipe it clean with a damp cloth.
