Fancy working at the-stitchery?
the-stitchery, the knitting basket and Riverside Art & Framing are looking for two more team members to start work ASAP
If you LOVE crafting (it is essential that you are able to KNIT and/or SEW), you might be just one of the people that we are looking for…
The successful candidates will have sunny, positive & outgoing dispositions, with an enthusiastic commitment to customer service. You will be well-presented individuasl with good communication skills.
Confident with maths—you will have to operate a till and process credit card payments, as well as calculate fabric requirements and framing measurements, – full training will be given.
There are two positions, both are permanent, part time for 16 hours per week; 4 x 4 hour morning or afternoon shifts 9.30am to 1.30pm or 1pm- 5pm (with one shift as a Saturday morning/afternoon every fortnight). It is essential that the candidates have the flexibility & motivation to step in to cover sickness and holidays. The roles are based upstairs in Riverside & will include working in all of our three shops.
Duties will include sales, assisting with deliveries and display and light cleaning. You may also be required to pick and pack internet orders. Passion for the product is a key requirement and though retail experience is preferred it is not absolutely crucial.
Please apply to Saira Foden either by post or by email (firstname.lastname@example.org) Whilst helpful, a CV is not necessarily required, just tell us what you have been doing and why you want to work with us. Please pass this information on to anyone that you know that might be interested in this role. Thanks x
