Eco-responsible: The good news is that this is an annually renewable natural resource which is shorn, blended and spun in Yorkshire. Yes here in the UK!!  You can feel happy that this product has a low carbon footprint as well as looking totally gorgeous… it’s great for British Hill Farmers and for the British Yarn Spinning Industry.

Natural: The Brititsh Sheep Collection is produced with its natural lanolin intact and is therefore naturally hardwearing as well as offering  protection against the elements-great for walking the downs.

Here at the-stitchery we now have the ‘chunky-weight’  option available in 5 different un-dyed shades; Bluefaced Leicester (a full rich warm cream colour), Steel  Grey Suffolk (light grey/beige), Mid Brown Jacob, Shetland Morrit  and Black Welsh. Retailing at £7.25 for 100g ball (approx.110m), this natural yarn knits up on 7mm needles so your work will grow relatively quickly.

Gunnerside, modelled here by Jodie takes 8 balls in the small size and 10 in the large.
